The Tallahassee Historical Society seeks out opportunities to carry out it mission to foster a deeper understanding of and appreciation for the history of Tallahassee, Leon County, and surrounding areas. Some of our activities include:

• Monthly meetings from October through May featuring interesting speakers on a variety of historical topics. 
• Participation in local events such as Word of South and the Tallahassee History Festival.
• Planning for Tallahassee’s Bicentennial in 2024.
• Support of preservation projects, including cemetery maintenance.
• Newsletters, blog posts, and other publications.
